Download TikTok — Official App Only

Get the official TikTok app

The only safe way to get TikTok — and the only version that can ever legitimately show you the profile banner — is the official app from the official stores. We do not link to APK download sites, "mod" versions, or third-party installers anywhere on this site, because those are exactly the things that get accounts banned and devices infected.

Official download links

• TikTok on the App Store (iPhone and iPad)
• TikTok on Google Play (Android)

Why the official app matters for the banner

Banner access is granted to accounts, not to app versions — installing a different copy of TikTok does not change your allow-list status. Keeping the official app updated is the one legitimate thing you can do: allow-list waves tend to follow app updates, so an outdated app is the only thing that could actually delay your access. You can check whether your account has banner access in under a minute with the steps in our guide.

A warning about mod APKs

If a site or video tells you to download a "TikTok banner APK," disable Play Protect, or log in through an unfamiliar installer, treat it as hostile. Those are textbook red flags for malware and credential theft. No banner is worth your account — or your phone's security. Our FAQ answers the most common questions about the mod claims honestly.
